- Asymptotic stable throughput (AST) is the maximum arrival rate a large network can support while keeping queues bounded. We characterize the maximum AST of random access with distributed channel state information. The results is applied to CDMA networks with matched filter and linear MMSA (minimum mean square error) receivers. Networks with ad without power control are considered. It is shown that power control does not improve AST if the channel support is large enough.
